#28: Chocolate Basil Brownies
Basil, basil, basil! We love to see it in desserts! I love basil whipped cream so I figured this basil buttercream would be just as good! The brownie base is recipe #19 (delicious). The basil buttercream is just divine and easy to spread over the baked and chilled brownies. The brownies and topped with a simple chocolate ganache. These were best stored in the freezer, and totally hit the spot!
#34: Brown Butter Blondies
My little sister is also becoming quite the baker, so we baked these brown butter blondies one night together when I visited her in North Carolina. The brown butter really makes these such a warm and cozy version of her normal blondies from recipe #33. I still prefer the regular blondies, but these are good too!

#36: Cinnamon Roll Blondies
This blondie uses the brown butter blondies from #34 as the base, while adding in a cream cheese and cinnamon sugar swirl on top. These were pretty good! I love the way the swirl came out. My one tip is to not make the cinnamon sugar swirl mixture too early. I melted the ingredients together and then let it cool a bit - which was a mistake. It hardened up really quickly and was unusable. Good thing it was a small part of the recipe and I could just whip up another mixture real quick!
