Dinner Party for 4

About last night...


We invited two of our best friends over for a dinner party, because we had a newly renovated kitchen to show off and a few new bridal shower gifts to break in. We made a simple chicken skillet, with a side of asparagus, and to top it off, some chocolate profiteroles!

 

Jalapeno Pepper Jelly Block


One of my new favorite appetizers is spreading a jam or jelly over a cream cheese block and serving with crackers. This time, I went with a jalapeno pepper jelly, which was sweet and spicy.

 

Rosemary Bread


I trekked all the way to Wegmans to pick up this rosemary bread - they bake the best bread! I served it with some of our specialty dipping olive oil from Georgetown Olive Oil Co. Equal parts Habanero & Lime Olive Oil and Mango & Coconut White Balsamic Vinegar. This combo is so good!

 

Chicken Florentine


Pretty, easy, and a crowd pleaser! That photo speaks for itself!

Chocolate Profiteroles

Inspired by my time watching The Great British Baking Show, I made Mary Berry's chocolate profiterole recipe, making my own choux pastry and piping my own homemade whipped cream! Served with a few fresh raspberries on the side.
